Remind: A Simple Way to Receive News & Info
Communication Survey Results
Thank you to the more than 40 members who have completed the Contact Preference Survey. Your Communication Team has been busy using those surveys to update our database, and to develop a clearly defined strategy for contacting folks based on the indicated preference and on the circumstance. A lot has changed since the days of people only having a home phone to use for receiving messages, and we at St. Andrew’s are trying to make certain we are effective at reaching people with important news and information.
If you have not yet completed the survey in which you tell us your preferred method of contact, please take a moment to do so. There are forms available in Mike’s office, or see Lynn Schauer-Bewley.
A note for those who selected receiving a text as their first choice of contact: in the near future you will be receiving a text to accept notifications from Remind, a free service that allows us to easily send group text messages.

Why use Remind?
Remind helps us instantly connect with one another using our mobile devices. It's like sending a group text message but without the frustrating "reply all" responses that can follow a group text. It's a free app, and it will help us communicate more efficiently and effectively. Although it was initially designed for students and teachers, many churches are finding it a useful tool for their congregations.
