Leadership Candidates 2019
Thank you for considering me for junior warden. My husband Mark and I have two adult children, Stacy and Margi. We love gardening, repurposing furniture and spending lots of time with family and friends.
After six years in California, family was the reason that brought us home. Again, it was family that brought us to St. Andrew’s but it has been our new friends and the spiritual strength of St. Andrew’s that has kept us here.
Throughout my career, I have managed several businesses and co-owned with Mark one for 28 years. As part of the St. Andrew’s family, I have co-chaired the Christmas bazaar, worked the fish fry, volunteered at the church store and taken communion to shut-ins. I believe these experiences have helped prepare me to serve as junior warden.
I hope to serve St. Andrew’s and our community with pride, love and faith and to help strengthen our future together.
God Bless, Meg
I am honored to be nominated to fill the one year vestry position. Let me start by just writing a short bio of myself as some of you may not know me other than on Sundays. I am married to Jacquelyn we were married October 1st 2011 and reside in Burt. We have no children but 2 dogs who take up a lot of our time and that we love. I currently work for the Town of Wilson as the Code Enforcement Officer. I began that position in April of 2018. Prior to that I worked for GEICO as an adjuster. Some of my hobbies include woodworking, toy collecting, and farming. I have been a member of Ransomville Fire Company for over 10 years and held the office of treasurer for 9 years. I was baptized and attended the Episcopal church in Lewiston as a child. After that I was never a member of any other church or religious organization. After marrying my wife we were looking to renew our spiritual faith as a couple but wanted something with structure and community. We went to St. Andrews and felt welcomed right away. I would be honored to be part of the vestry as I am proud to be part of St Andrews and like the direction of where the church is going (ex. café service). I will do my best to support the church.
Thank you. Chris
Hello St. Andrews family! It is with great pride that I have accepted the nomination for vestry. St. Andrews has been my home church since I was baptized, and later confirmed. I was one of the first female acolytes after the church voted to allow women on the altar. Tom and I were married here 35 years ago in March of 1984. My first undertaking in 1984 of responsibility was that of an Altar Guild volunteer. I then started as part of the clean up crew with the fish fry from our very first one till the present. Since then, I was then asked to take the reins of the acolyte director, and convention delegate all around the same time frame. When I take on a job it is with the idea that I will do the best possible job that I can. In addition and with great pride and a lot of hard work I also am an Education for Ministry (EFM) Graduate. I believe that we are not just St. Andrews of Burt but that we are St. Andrews of the Diocese of WNY and that we need to take part in some of the greater Diocese functions.

I’m excited to be nominated for a vestry position. I am mom to Gage, age 8 and Thatcher, age 2. My husband, Ethan and the boys and I live in Cambria. I work at the Newfane Early Childhood Center in a preschool class with children who have special needs. I have been attending St. Andrews since Gage was a baby and have served on vestry once before. I also serve as the liaison to our outreach ministry of Little Roses and have taken an active role in the kitchen during fish fry. I had the joy of mentoring one of our confirmands last Spring and help by taking a leadership role on the Hospitality committee of our church. I'm looking forward to serving on vestry again and to help our church grow in any way it can.
Thank you, Jamie Gailie
