COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- The event will take place completely outdoors
- eggs will be hidden in traditional locations
- prizes will be set up under one or two tents to ensure they are safe from the weather, but ample airflow will be present
- depending on the weather, tables may possibly set up in the parking lot for families to sort their eggs before collecting prizes - but social distancing will be enforced and sanitizing will happen between family groups
- Masks required by all at all times
- Social Distancing will be enforced through the use of the following:
- family registration for the event via Sign Up Genius - limiting the children hunting for eggs to 10-15 in a 10 minute period
- restricting the number of people allowed at the prize collection table - basically allowing 1 family at a time to collect their prizes
- cones spaced 6 feet apart will be used in places where people may need to wait in line (prize collection table)
- Egg packing, hiding, and collecting procedures
- Eggs will be washed before stuffing them with candy and prize tickets
- Eggs will be stuffed at least 3 days before the event
- Gloves will be worn when hiding the eggs on the day of the event
- Once collected, empty eggs will again be washed and stored safely for next year
- Hand sanitizer will be made available to families and workers
